Review: Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
19:32:00Okay i know i promised a review regarding a lip product but i couldnt help it. I started reading this book last night and i just finished it. I just HAD to review it and let others know about it.
I am literally speechless. I dont know what to say i am just sitting here with the laptop on my lap and starring at the screen thinking how i can describe this book.
Well let me take a whack at it.
So the book is about Hannah, a girl who commits suicide and then sends a bunch of tapes telling the reasons why she committed suicide to the people who lead her to it. Every single person who gets the package has somehow played a part in the act.
As the story unfolds you can not help but wonder if you ever somehow, perhaps, unintentionally but did you become a reason for someone's growing depression? could you have helped?
I found myself wondering how i came at the point where i am today and i realized that a lot of people in my past played a part in my life to make me the person i am. I know that is certainly obvious but you have to admit if certain things or events did not take place or had i not met certain people in my past then my life would have been completely different, in fact, i would go as far as to say that heck! i wouldnt even be married to my husband.
We never really stop and think what impact our actions or words might have on the other person and on their lives.
Even the tiniest thing can cause the volcano in our minds to erupt. So the next time you hear a gossip dont base your entire perception of a certain person on the information that is most likely not even true.

Makes you think doesnt it? and i absolutely love such books that make you think about life and makes you ponder over different things and just stays in your mind like the story and the characters get etched in your mind.
I have read countless books and i can confidently say that this one of those books that i am gonna remember and recommend for a long long time. So go and grab this book, borrow it, buy it or swap, i dont care but READ THIS BOOK. Trust me you wont regret it,
The book is so gripping from the first paragraph you will be hooked.
They also have a website hannahsrasons.blogspot.com where you can hear the tapes i visited the site and played one of the videos and it just creeped me out. Just hearing her voice ran shivers down my spine. But if you are brave enough by all means listen to the tapes online.

P.S. If you are looking to read a happy book, This isnt it.
