From matte to creamy to glossy to velvet finish, we now have so many choices to go for. Of course the preference of texture is different for everyone.
Since i have dry lips, i am most comfortable with glossy and creamy shades. Mattes usually make my lips dried out Although i do have 1 or 2 matte shades in my collections, i just use the other textured lipsticks more.
Thankfully, the lipstick i received earlier this month is not matte at all.
You must have seen me sporting this shade on instagram and my page often. Let me finally tell u guys about this lipstick =)

I thought it was going to be a cheap gold color but turns out the gold colored bullet is so hot that you are just going to want to buy it for the packaging haha.
The shade I got is Raspberry Blush, a very pretty pinkish red shade. The shade is so versatile it went with every look I tried out. It appears kind of fuchsia like in flash and without flash in indoor lighting and outdoor it appeared kind of red with pink hues.

The color most near to real life is surprisingly the one in the selfie.
As far as the texture is concerned, I have to say I loved it. The lipstick kept my lips hydrated which is because of the Argon Oil and the smooth satin finish makes the lips look full and lustrous ;) It glides on your lips evenly, just a swipe gives you real nice color pay off and you can build it up as much as you want.
It stays on for a good 3 to 4 hours and seems to be water proof too since I had lots of water in between =p
Because of the creamy satin finish it does smudge easily so you need to be careful with the application.
I tried my trick of turning creamy lipsticks into matte and it worked amazingly for this lipstick as well. Let me know in the comments if you want to know the trick too ;) Oh and also i went a bit crazy with the selfies...
So yeah I totally loved the lipstick and would recomend it to you guys. Here is a little secret. I was just going to try it for the review and then keep it for later but I just couldn't keep my hands off it.

Magnum is one of the only two ice creams i eat (The other is hand made Peshawari ice cream). So you can imagine my delight when i found out that i was one of the bloggers they invited to their Exclusive launch for bloggers. I am sure you all saw the happenings of the official launch, which was SPLENDID.
The event was great. I loved the ambiance of the place. The best thing is that they have designed the store for taking selfies. Seriously the lighting is great and you have tons of places where you can take pictures with your friends. Had great fun in the activites Creative Chaos had planned for us. Let me tell you guys about the store. The Magnum store is all about personalized pleasure. Yup, pleasure on order people that's what it is.
The Magnum Store in Karachi is the 14th in the world after opening in places like Paris, London New York Tokyo and more. Also, the amazing bit is that The Magnum Store Karachi is the 1st to open in all of South Asia. How awesome is that?!
All you need is Rs. 250 and you can enjoy the pure Belgian Chocolate Pleasure designed especially according to your taste BY YOURSELF. What more could you want right?!
So the big question is; How do you make your Magnum?
Let me walk you through it...
1. Select 3 toppings out of the 14.
You have 3 categories to select from. The classic which has the usual toppings like Chocolate Rice Crispies, Honey Comb, Fruity Pebbles and a few more
The second category has toppings like Chopped Hazelnuts, Crumbled Biscuits, Chocolate Sprinkles and more
The third category is called The Experimental. It is for the daring souls ;) Every item that you can NOT imagine to put on an ice cream is there. Chili Flakes, Blue Poppy Seed and Rock Salt were some of them.
When you are done with the selection of your toppings which is a very difficult task. Trust me on this! Your Magnum Maker will shake em in a cocktail mixer. You will move on to the other step when he is done shaking it ;)
2. Select your ice cream bar.
You have 2 options Chocolate and Vanilla. I hope they introduce more soon. It will be fascinating to have other Magnum flavors.
3. Select your dip.
Again 2 options, dark chocolate or white chocolate.
Dark chocolate! always go for Dark chocolate. Yyuummm!!
After your selected ice cream bar is coated with the dip of your choice, your Magnum is going to get bombarded with your topping. The cherry on the top is the caramel drizzle on your very own customized Magnum.
Take a look here at my customized Magnum. The toppings i chose were; chilly flakes, small candy pieces and fruity pebbles. Chose dark chocolate for my dip. and the ice cream stick was chocolate. The whole thing had caramel drizzled all over it.

I know the chili flakes might make you think i am crazy but HEY! don't judge me. I love some spice in my life ;) hehe. It gave perfect balance to the sweetness of the ice cream.

Only a really really good experience can urge you to write a review on a salon, that is miles away from your home, immediately after you come back tired as heck.
No i was not invited to write a review, no i was not offered anything in exchange of a review and no i am not killing time right now.
I am writing this review because i genuinely want to recommend people to go to Golden Mirror Beauty Salon and have even a tiny bit of the amazing time i had there.
I just realized that this is the first ever review that i have started off with the verdict. haha (Otherwise i am really dramatic and i like to build up the mystery until the very end to keep you guys entertained....ok no i lied. i only do it so you read the whole post. see this is what a blogger has to go through!!)

My cousin Soophia unfortunately could not come =( *boohoo* so i decided to take my sister instead.
Since this was my first time and don't really know the khayabans in defence. I just dont get any of them, but i do remember the one where my college is located. Khayaban-e-Ittehad...no Khayaban-e-Ghalib...wait i know this.... *quickly checks address on google* Khayban-e-Ghalib *booyeah* see i knew it.
Anyhow i had no idea where Khayaban-e-Nishat was and when were asking around people asked "chota Nishat ya bara Nishat?" and i thought omg things have changed a lot in these 5 to 6 years now there are sizes for these Khayabans.
The address is really simple. Take a right from the signal after Axact. Skip 3 signals then take a left on the 4th signal and there you have it. That's Khayaban-e- Nishat (Please correct me if i am wrong and please do NOT trust me on this) From there you need to go to Nishat Lane 3. The plot number is c3/-c1.
We arrived an hour late because of obvious reasons.
The first impression of the salon:
Fun and chic. Shades of pink and golden were everywhere with a bit of splash of black here and there. Very different from the usual salons that i have visited in that area,
The main floor has three areas apart from the reception and waiting area. The first is the hair styling area the second is the mani/pedi area and the third, i believe, is the makeup area or for services for your face (except facial)
Downstairs they give the full body services and the facials.
The Services:
Now you know the services i had from the salon now lets see how it went down.
I refused the full body services at first since i have never had them done and i felt extremely uncomfortable. The golden mirror team convinced me by explaining it all to me,
1. You will be wearing the gown through out the services
2. They will only do the services on the areas you want.
3. The room is kept locked and nobody comes in until you are all done with the service.
I opted to just go for my legs till the knees, shoulder, back and arms. Basically the only areas that were visible after i wore the gown =p
Nadia did my facial and the body scrub also gave me an amazing body massage, The girl seriously has hands of .. of ... oh i don't know she was just so good at her stuff masha'Allah. Loved everything about each of these things. Spent the right amount of time on my facial (Whitening Facial - given according to my skin type), did not make me feel even a tad bit uncomfortable when she was scrubbing and applied the right amount of pressure when massaging... oh the massage *sigh*
I chose Body Shop's Vanilla Body Scrub and Body Shop's Moringa Beautifying oil for the massage.
The Body Shop manicure and pedicure were super awesome too but nothing can lessen my love for OPI manis and pedis.
At Golden Mirror the water for manicure and pedicure had fresh rose petals in it which i loved. My mani and pedi were done by Kulsoom. She may look fragile but boy that girl has some strength in her. Honestly, all the services were more than satisfactory.

What can i say about these gorgeous babes. Both are so sweet and it did not feel like we were meeting for the first time. Ayesha was the first person i met when i entered, she introduced me to their receptionist Kulsoom who is also a real sweetheart. We all started talking and everyone was so excited for me. I had warmed up to Khatija when we started talking over the phone about the appointment, the girl has a voice as sweet as a canary. You talk to her and you feel like nothing can go wrong at the salon all your services are going to be perfect. Which they will be trust me ;)
With khatija being the sweet, ayesha adds the spice factor in the duo ;) and ofcourse their team being the everything nice. Not only did Khatija and Ayesha treat their clients nicely but the way they were with their employees made me realize that i had never seen the owner and the employees mixing up this well at any salon i have ever been in.
This is the place you go to when you a need to have a fun spa day alone or with your friends. Don't worry about the relaxation. The areas where they do the full body services and facials is quiet and peaceful and you can easily have your little me time there =)
Khatija and Ayesha had lunch with us all the while telling us their funny and silly stories, much like any other siblings. And as if this was not enough they presented me with a surprise gift when we were leaving. The bag contained a huge pack of kitkat, a Golden Mirror Sticker, their membership for 2 years, a RS.3500 gift card, an Essie nail color (Watermelon) in a tiny little jar and a huge poster of the giveaway winner announcement with my name on it ^_^
My sister and i left feeling satisfied, pampered and squeaky clean.

Hey there guys so this time round i got a chance to try the Pond's White Beauty.
This was very interesting for me since i have never used any product of Pond's.
Pond's has relaunched White Beauty with GenWhite Technology that goes three layers deep into your skin, works on your DNA to remove dark spots and lightens your skin to even out your complexion giving you a glow from within.
I am strongly against fairness creams and i was happy to know that Pond's is the first brand in Pakistan to move beyond the “gorapan” incentive and focus on other benefits that our desi skins actually need.
I kept a 7 day diary to notice changes that occurred in my skin. I have been sharing my thoughts on my Facebook page for 7 days, under the hashtag #SpotlessRadiance which is Pond's White Beauty's official hashtag as well.
The 7 Day Diary:
Day 1: The first thing you notice is the smell, i actually really liked it. Bad smelling creams are a huge turn off for me and i didn't have to worry about that in Pond's White Beauty. The cream feels very light. It is not oily at all which is a plus for me because even though i have dry skin i hate it when creams or lotions make me oily.
Day 2: I did not notice any change the very next day but i noticed the color of the White Beauty cream is kinda silvery pink which helps in giving you an immediate subtle glow.

Day 3: No change up till now. So i decided to see how others react to it and i asked my cousins to apply it tell me their first reaction. The common things that they both said was that it feels fresh on the skin after immediate use.
Day 4: On the 4th day i noticed the spot i had, started lightening. I have this one spot on my cheek. it appeared there a few months ago and i have to be honest i did not do anything to make it go away. i was just using my usual moisturizer and face wash.

Day 7: The difference was apparent there are no spots on my skin (although i had just 1, but hey i had it for months), my skin glows and my skin has evened out to an extent. Of course there is still more for it to work on and i am still using it.
The best part is that it is so affordable at just Rs.220 and i am sure you can tell from the pictures that it will easily last you 2 to 3 months. It is readily available. You can easily find it at your nearest cosmetics store.
Verdict
I love, love, love the packaging. I find it beyond adorable.
I recommend Pond's White Beauty especially to people with oily skin since it is oil free. Give it time to work. With continuous use i am sure you will see the difference in your skin. So get your hands on Pond's White Beauty before it is all sold out.

Relaunch Event
Now lets have a glimpse at the Relaunch event with the Beauty Bloggers.
It is always fun to meet up with the bloggers, discuss our new likes and dislikes, our opinions on the product in question and then of course the disease of selfititis that all of us beauty bloggers have ;)
The event started off with delicious lemonade, mouthwatering cupcakes and loads more delectable, and later had an interactive session with Dr. Saeeda Mandviwaala. Everyone participated in a surprise giveaway too. We had to tweet compliments to each other with the official Pond's White Beauty Hashtag and the one with the most compliments got Pond's on the Go Facial and Tony & Guy Blowdry. We all went home, as promised, satisfied and entertained, along with care packages from Pond's.
